Preview of Rocket Mortgage Classic

The next stop on the PGA Tour is the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and this should be another interesting golf tournament. This has been a great year of PGA Tour action, and that is a trend that is going to continue into the weekend.

The Detroit Golf Club will once again host the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and it’s an event that has been around since 2019. There will be some big names sitting this one out, but there are still some great golfers ready to tee it up.

Here is a look at some of the top odds for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and a betting pick to make.

Two Big Favorites

When looking at the betting odds to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic, there are two golfers that are ahead of the others in the odds. Those two golfers are not who you might expect as players like Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are sitting this weekend out.

Tom Kim is the betting favorite to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic and he currently has betting odds set at +1200 to get the job done. Kim had a tough loss last weekend as he fell just short against Scheffler at the Travelers Championship.

Cameron Young is next on the list at +1600 to win this tournament, and he had a great round last weekend. Young has not had a ton of success on the PGA Tour, but this could be an opportunity for him to cash in.

Those two golfers are worthy of betting favorites in a golf tournament, but they are only in that position because some others are not in the field.

Others in the Mix

The betting odds do tend to fall off a bit after the top two golfers in the field, but you will find some great contenders. Min Woo Lee has the next best odds to win the tournament this weekend, and those odds are sitting at +2000.

Akshay Bhatia was in the mix at the Travelers, and he comes into this tournament with odds set at +2200 to come away with a win. Stephen Jaeger is another interesting name on the PGA Tour, and his odds are sitting at +2500.

The odds really start to fall off from there, but there are still some solid golfers that will be looking to make a big run.

Young Gets it Done

There is some temptation to bet on Tom Kim to win this weekend, especially after how well he played last weekend. Kim is the betting favorite for a reason, but he hasn’t really proven that he is one of the best players in the sport.

You will want to focus on a betting favorite this weekend, but it’s going to be Cameron Young that comes away with a win. Young comes with a ton of value at +1600, and he will be the player that wins this tournament.
