The Yellow Jackets also dished out 20 assists as a team and grabbed 13 offensive rebounds.</p><p>Georgia Tech's defense gave up 62 points in their last game, with the opposing team shooting 48% from the field on 33 of 68 attempts. Inside the arc, they allowed 26 of 41 shooting, which is 63%.</p> <p>From three-point range, Georgia Tech held the other team to 7 of 27 shooting, or 25%. North Florida Ospreys vs Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets NCAA Basketball Betting Pick & Prediction 11/10/24

Another week, another PGA Tour event. With a WGC event on the horizon next week and the Memorial in the rearview mirror, we have a watered-down and weaker field at TPC Twin Cities for the 3M Open. A lot of the players that we would have considered value buys in recent weeks are now priced with salaries that exclude them from the purposes of this article.

We’ll have to dig a little deeper this week to figure out what to do with the 3M Open. This is another course where SG: Approach appears to be one of the most important metrics, but we also only have one year worth of course data because this was an inaugural event last season.

Salaries are from <a href="http://bangthebook.com/s/draftkings"><strong>DraftKings</strong> </a>as we take a look at the best potential bang for our bucks with some DFS value plays for the 3M Open:

<strong>Ryan Armour ($7,600) – </strong>Ryan Armour returned to the Columbus area and had a disappointing outcome in the Workday Charity Open. Maybe the newfound expectations were too much for the former Buckeye. In any event, Armour, who was not in the Memorial field, can look to get back to his top-10 ways at TPC Twin Cities. Armour was T-6th in the Travelers Championship and T-4th in the Rocket Mortgage Classic, due in large part to his iron play. He had 45 birdies and an eagle to go against 14 bogeys and a double over those events. Armour tied for 42nd here last year, but putted well and fits the course profile nicely. He was sixth at TPC River Highlands, which is a comparable course to this one per DataGolf, and sixth in the Valspar Championship last year at Innisbrook, which is the most comparable course to this one.

<strong>Dylan Frittelli ($7,600) – </strong>Dylan Frittelli hasn’t found much in the form of consistency in his five events since the return, but he did have a top-10 finish at the RBC Heritage and snared a top-25 result last week at the Memorial. Frittelli was among the best in SG: Approach last year in the 3M Open, but really struggled with the putter. He was 13th in SG: Tee-to-Green and fifth in SG: APP, so there is a blueprint here for him to play well, so long as he can get a few putts to fall. Frittelli has been pretty good overall with his iron play since the return. If he can coax his putter to show up, the low-to-medium risk/high-reward strategy we’re looking for in this article could come to fruition.

<strong>Troy Merritt ($7,500) – </strong>We tried with Troy Merritt last week and he came up short. The changes to the course format really hurt him, as he went from T-22nd in the Workday Charity Open to a MC in the Memorial. We’ll go back to the well with Merritt here, though, as he had a strong showing with a top-10 finish here last year. He was one of the best putters in the event, but did a little bit of everything well. Merritt also putted well three weeks ago in the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He was fifth in SG: APP for the Workday Charity Open. One thing has been off each week. We’ll see if he can put the total package together for us this week.

<strong>Denny McCarthy ($7,100) – </strong>Denny McCarthy is back in full swing now after playing all 72 holes at the Memorial. McCarthy shot an opening-round, bogey-free 67 at the Travelers Championship, but then had to withdraw because of a positive COVID-19 test. McCarthy was off to a nice start at TPC River Highlands, which is a comparable course to TPC Twin Cities. Another comparable course is Sea Island for the RSM Classic. He was T-8th there earlier this year. He finished T-23rd at the 3M Open last year. McCarthy was also T-9th last year at the Valspar at Innisbrook. Given the comparable courses to this one, McCarthy may simply fit the course profile pretty well as a long shot guy with a low cost.

<strong>Luke Donald ($6,600) – </strong>Luke Donald didn’t play this event last year, but he did play the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook and he finished tied for ninth. He played really well with his irons and wedges and rolled in a few putts. Per DataGolf, the closest comp to what matters at this course is what matters at Innisbrook. Therefore, Donald looks like a player that should have a little bit of a horse for course skill set. Donald ranks seventh in the Course History Index metric at DataGolf for his 34 career rounds at Innisbrook. We don’t have course data for this event, but Donald did open 69-65 last month at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands, which is another comparable course to TPC Twin Cities. The bottom of the barrel is thin this week with the light field, but Donald could surprise at a really cheap price.

As for the pitching matchup, Davis Martin got the start for the White Sox, going just 3 2/3 innings while giving up two runs and striking out four. Jared Shuster got the win out of the bullpen, and José Quijada took the loss for the Angels out of the bullpen. </p>

<p>Korey Lee was the difference for the White Sox, as he homered in the 2nd and scored the game-winning run in the 10th. Lenyn Sosa also had a two-hit game and scored twice for Chicago. </p>

<p>Jose Suarez got the start for the Angels, going five innings and giving up three earned runs. He finished the game with five strikeouts but issued two walks. </p>

Detroit Red Wings vs Chicago Blackhawks Betting Pick & Prediction 11/6/24

Nobody seems to want the final playoff spot in the NHL’s West Division. The Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche, and Minnesota Wild have all already punched their respective tickets to the postseason. The St. Louis Blues, Arizona Coyotes, San Jose Sharks, and Los Angeles Kings are separated by six points top to bottom in the division for the fourth and final spot.

The Blues are suffering through a difficult portion of the season and have another tough game against the Wild tonight. A big four-point game takes place between the Coyotes and Sharks tonight and that will be the spotlight game for this preview. The game is lined -110 both ways at <a href="http://bangthebook.com/sportsbooks/bookmaker/">Bookmaker Sportsbook</a> with a total of 5.5.

With a win and a St. Louis loss, the Coyotes would leapfrog into the fourth spot. If the Sharks get the two points and a Blues loss, they’ll close the gap to three with seven games left.

<strong><u>Arizona Coyotes</u></strong>

Arizona has lost eight of its last 10. The door was open with the extreme strength of schedule difficulty for the Blues, but the Coyotes have left the door swinging in the breeze and have not walked through it. They are now -24 in goal differential on the season with the recent struggles and dropped a 6-4 decision to the Sharks on Monday in their most recent game.

Only two of the eight most recent losses have come in one-goal games, so the Coyotes haven’t even been competitive enough most nights. That 6-4 loss was the first regulation loss for the ‘Yotes in the season series, as they are 3-1-1 against the Sharks on the campaign.

The problems run deep for the Coyotes, as they can’t score enough goals at even strength and haven’t gotten very good goaltending. We’ll see if Darcy Kuemper can bounce back from his poor showing on Monday. On the heels of a shutout win over the Kings, Kuemper allowed four goals on just 11 shots and was pulled early in the second period. For the season, Kuemper has a 2.52 GAA with a .907 SV%, which simply isn’t going to get it done with the limited margin for error provided by the offense.

The high-scoring affair on Monday shouldn’t have come as a surprise. These two teams are in the bottom 10 in 5-v-5 goals against. Arizona has fared better than San Jose, but both teams have allowed a lot of high-danger scoring chances in that game situation. San Jose, however, has generated a lot more high-danger scoring chances of their own. They are actually fifth in high-danger chances for at 5-v-5. Arizona is 18th.

That means Kuemper will absolutely have to play better for Arizona to secure two points here. If it isn’t Kuemper, the onus will fall on Adin Hill, who stopped 21 of 22 shots in relief of the starter on Monday. Hill has not started since April 11 and has a 2.84 GAA and a .911 SV%.

<strong><u>San Jose Sharks</u></strong>

Monday’s win broke an eight-game losing streak for the Sharks, who are not dead yet in terms of the playoff picture. The task at hand is made a lot more difficult with four games left against Colorado and then a season finale against Vegas. Every game is a must-win when chasing a playoff spot, but this one very much falls into that category with a team ahead of San Jose in the standings.

Goaltending has been an enormous issue for the Sharks. Collectively, Martin Jones, Devin Dubnyk, Josef Korenar, and Alexei Melnichuk have combined to post a 3.42 GAA and an .896 SV%. Those are putrid numbers. None of the three goaltenders to appear in at least six games have a SV% of .900 or better. Melnichuk stopped all five shots that he faced in his nine-minute relief appearance.

It will be Korenar tonight for the Sharks, who has allowed 14 goals on 119 shots in his six games. The 23-year-old scored his first NHL win in that 6-4 decision on Monday. The Sharks haven’t gotten saves in big spots. Their high-danger save percentage is the lowest in the league at 78.48% at 5-v-5. Goaltending will be a focal point this offseason to be sure.

Along with the lowest HDSV% in the NHL, the Sharks are 29th in high-danger shooting percentage at 5-v-5. Think of that stat like performing with runners in scoring position in baseball. The best chances to score and the best chances for the opposition to score often dictate a game. For the Sharks, they’ve failed in both areas. If the season were to drag on a little longer, maybe some positive regression would come, but it’s hard to see a wild swing with so little time left.

The Sharks should be a better team than they are. The season has been a tumultuous one for them. Because of COVID-19 protocols in Santa Clara County, they weren’t able to play a legit home game until February 13. They played their first 12 games on the road. Six of their remaining eight games are at home, with only one more road trip, a visit to Denver.

<strong><u>Coyotes vs. Sharks Pick</u></strong>
