Main Event - Sandhagen vs. Font

Starting at the top of the card, Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font will be meeting each other in the octagon at a 140 lb catchweight since Font is stepping in on short notice after Umar Nurmagomedov had to pull out due to an injury.

Sandhagen is the big -350 betting favorite over the UFC veteran, who’s currently at +285 to get his hand raised. Font is no joke and has been in the cage with some of the best in the bantamweight division; through ups and downs, he still finds himself at the top of the division, one fight away from being in the title conversation.

With Sterling and O’Malley set to fight in two weeks, the winner of this main event is surely going to be considered to get the next title shot.

On the technical side of this exciting matchup, Sandhagen has a very impressive skillset with his footwork, slick combinations, and newly-acquired wrestling. Font is still dangerous as ever with his slick boxing skill and stiff jab.

The matchup really favors Sandhagen because he has the footwork and counterpunching ability to make this a frustrating night for Font and his pressure. Take the under 3.5 total at +105, and Sandhagen to win inside the distance at -115.

Other Key Fights

An interesting bet to make outside of the main event is in the co-main event fight between Andrade and Suarez. This fight is only 15 minutes, so you should go with the over 2.5 rounds at +165 and take this fight to go the distance. Most likely, Suarez will outclass the former champion and win a decision.

The best pick of the night to really bang the book is Kyler Phillips beating Raoni Barcelos inside the distance at +205. Phillips is one of the most talented prospects on the entire UFC roster, and he is coming back from a long layoff. He will be eager to put on a statement performance to remind everyone why he is right on the edge of the top-15 rankings.

Another key fight to watch is Quarantillo vs. Jackson. This will be an early contender for a fight night bonus, either performance or fight of the night. Quarantillo has the skills to get a finish here—take him to get his hand raised.

The prelim opener features Ode Osbourne as the underdog against Asu Almabaev. It looks really nice to take Osbourne to get a finish as well at +240. He is a fun fighter to watch that loves to finish his fights, especially with the crowd and the energy that will be there to start this event.

Lastly, Diego Lopes is back after an impressive debut showing against a tough Movsar Evloev on short notice, where he showed his heart and readiness to throw down in the octagon. Against a much lesser-skilled opponent, it’s a really good pick to take him by finishing Gavin Tucker. You can get that at +125 at BetOnline.
