Los Angeles is hitting .251, has 72 hits and 54 runs, and the pitching staff has a combined 3.76 ERA.</p>

It has been a sleepy start for the team from The Bay and it will be interesting to see what direction this team heads this year.</p>



<p>Logan Webb is set to make his third start of the season and he has been roughed up to start the year, going 0-2 with a 6.55 ERA.</p>



<p>The Giants, early on, have been led this season by Thairo Estrada and his .364 ERA, Michael Conforto’s three home runs, and Joc Pederson’s seven RBIs. San Francisco is batting 2.61, with 44 runs on 74 hits, and the pitching staff has a 4.57 ERA.</p>

However, the Warriors battled back, winning the 3rd quarter 25-21 and heading into the 4th with an 87-84 lead. They edged out the Pelicans 25-24 in the final quarter to secure the win.</p><p>Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors to a win over the Pelicans with 30 points, shooting 64.3% from the field and hitting 3 threes at 60%. Stephen Curry added 19 points, connecting on 4 threes at 57.1%.</p> <p>Golden State shot 32.4% from deep, making 12 threes, and finished with a 44.8% overall field goal percentage. Wiggins scored 13 points in the 1st quarter and added 7 more in the 4th.</p><p>Despite a tough 2nd quarter where they gave up 33 points, the Warriors tightened up their defense in the 3rd, allowing just 21 points to help secure the win over the Pelicans. Overall, they held New Orleans to 108 points on 44% shooting.</p> <p>Golden State did an excellent job defending the three, as the Pelicans shot just 30% from deep, making 12 threes. The Warriors also sent New Orleans to the line 22 times, where they hit 14 free throws. Defensively, the Warriors finished with 5 steals and 5 blocks.</p><h3>Will San Antonio Secure A Victory as Home Underdogs?</h3><p>The Spurs evened their record at 8-8 with a 126-118 win over the Jazz on Thursday. San Antonio, favored by 3 points, covered the spread at home. Overall, they held Utah to 41% shooting from the field.</p> <p>San Antonio did a solid job defending the three, as the Jazz hit only 13 threes at a 28% clip. The Spurs also recorded 8 steals and 9 blocks in the game.</p>
