<p>Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins is currently the betting favorite to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award as he has odds set at +125. Hill is on pace to have over 2,000 receiving yards this season as he is trying to set a new NFL record.&nbsp;</p>



<p>San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is also in the mix to win this award as he has odds set at +150. San Francisco is a team with so many weapons though, and sometimes it’s hard to notice just how good McCaffrey has been.&nbsp;</p>



<p>If these two remain the betting favorites throughout the season then it will be interesting to see how the voters go. These two players are playing different positions on the offense, and that does make it harder to compare.&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-other-contenders">Other Contenders</h2>



<p>There are still six weeks remaining in the NFL season, and that will give other players a chance to make a run and win this award. The betting odds at BetOnline currently list just three other players, and really only two of them feel like a serious contender to win this award.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown currently has odds set at +500 to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award. Brown could also get to 2,000 receiving yards this season as the Eagles are throwing the football a ton this season.&nbsp;</p>



<p>You will usually see several running backs on the list to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award, but that’s not the case this season. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is the next player on the list as he has odds set at +900 <em><a href="/s/betdsi/">(at BetDSI)</a></em> to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award. </p>



<p>Lamb and the Dallas Cowboys are having a terrific season in the Eastern Conference, and they will be a tough out this season. Travis Kelce currently has odds set at +5000 to win the Offensive Player of the Year, but it would take a massive run for him to actually get into the mix.&nbsp;</p>

In week 15, he threw for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Browns. Xavier Worthy led the team with 46 receiving yards, and Kareem Hunt had 45 rushing yards. Kansas City scored all 21 points in the first three quarters before being shut out in the 4th.</p><p>Despite giving up 139 rushing yards on just 21 attempts, the Chiefs' defense played well in their most recent game, coming away with four interceptions and allowing just 127 passing yards. They picked up a 21-7 win over the Browns, holding Cleveland to just 7 points. Kansas City's defense also had five sacks in the game.</p>
<p>The Chiefs' defense limited the Browns to a 33.3% conversion rate on third down and won the tackles for loss battle. Even though they gave up a high 6.6 yards per attempt in the running game, the big plays in the passing game helped them secure the win.</p>

Houston Texans vs Kansas City Chiefs Betting Pick & Prediction 12/21/24

<p>With the fourth and final major in the rearview, the PGA Tour returns to the state of Minnesota for the 2023 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, just outside of Minneapolis.</p>



<p>This year marks year five of the tournament on the PGA, which took over for the 3M Championship, formerly a PGA Tour Champions event. Tournament play begins on Thursday, July 27th, and concludes on Sunday, July 30th.</p>



<p>Tony Finau returns to TPC Twin Cities to defend his 2022 title. Finau’s win last season was the first of back-to-back victories for the 33-year-old in consecutive weeks. The six-time PGA Tour winner defeated Emiliano Grillo and Sungjae Im by three shots, tallying a score of 267 (17-under par).</p>



<p>This year, the 3M Open is the second-to-last event on the PGA Tour schedule before the FedEx Cup Playoffs, and for the first time, only 70 players will advance to this year’s Playoffs. Players who do not finish inside the top 70 will compete in the Tour’s FedEx Cup Fall for their TOUR cards the following year.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Scoring Plentiful at TPC Twin Cities</h2>



<p>The course opened in 2000 with the original layout done by Arnold Palmer’s design team. TPC Twin Cities is a par-71 and can stretch to over 7,400 yards in length from the back tees.</p>



<p>The course went through a renovation in 2018, with narrowed fairways and added bunkers installed throughout the property. Course features include 27 bodies of water, mature trees, and Bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens.</p>



<p>Scoring is there for players, with the average winning score to par over the previous four tournaments at 18-under.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3M Open will Provide Plenty of Drama</h2>



<p>With only two tournaments remaining until the FedEx Cup postseason, there will be a lot on the line this week for players sitting in between 65th and 80th in the current standings.</p>



<p>The biggest name on the list is two-time major winner and 2017 FedEx Cup champion Justin Thomas, who comes to Minnesota sitting at 75th.</p>



<p>Players sitting around 70th in the standings that are in the field this week include K.H. Lee (70th), Sam Ryder (69th), Ben Griffin (68th) as well as David Lingmerth (71st), David Thompson (72nd), Lee Hodges (74th), Justin Suh (76th), and Cam Davis (77th).</p>



<p>A finish on the first page of the leaderboard for any of these players would vault them up the standings and into a comfortable position heading into next week’s season-finale event at the Wyndham Championship. A missed cut or bad finish on the weekend could put a lot of pressure on the individual heading into the final tournament.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-3m-open-betting-favorites">3M Open Betting Favorites</h2>

Diante Smith added 18 points, hitting 4 of 7 from deep, and Lance Ware contributed 14 points and 13 rebounds.</p><p>Even with UT Arlington's defense holding their opponent to 54 points, the Mavericks couldn't come out on top. They limited the opposition to 38% shooting overall, including 41% from two-point range, where they hit 10 of 24 attempts.</p> <p>From beyond the arc, UT Arlington allowed 11 threes on 30 attempts, a 36% shooting rate. They also sent the other team to the free-throw line 36 times, where they converted 27, shooting 75%. <p>Liberty improved to 8-1 on the season with an 83-74 home win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday, December 14th. The Flames were -20 favorites going into the game but didn’t cover the spread.</p> 

<p>Liberty led 39-37 at halftime and outscored the Aggies 44-37 in the second half. The combined points of 157 went over the pre-game O/U line of 142.5.</p><p>Liberty's offense put up 83 points in their last game, shooting 50% from the field and posting an effective field goal percentage of 56.1%. They connected on 58.1% of their two-point attempts and 34.8% from beyond the arc, hitting 8 threes on 23 attempts. At the free-throw line, they went 9-for-15, shooting 60%.</p> <p>Owen Aquino led the way with 28 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 60% from the field and hitting 2 of 3 from three-point range. Ryan Forrest added 21 points, knocking down 4 of 6 from deep. Liberty dished out 21 assists as a team, with Zach Cleveland contributing 7 assists to go along with his 12 points.</p><p>Liberty's defense struggled in their last game, giving up 74 points on 50% shooting from the field. The Flames allowed their opponent to connect on 33 of 66 shots.</p> <p>Inside the arc, Liberty's defense gave up 25 buckets on 43 attempts, a 58% success rate. From three-point range, their opponent hit 8 of 23 shots, shooting 34%. Liberty also sent their opponent to the free-throw line 15 times, where they made 9 of their attempts.</p>

UT Arlington Mavericks vs Liberty Flames NCAA Basketball Betting Pick & Prediction 12/21/24

We move on from the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial to what is typically an Invitational event at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, SC. This year’s version of the RBC Heritage has one of the strongest fields ever for this event and also has been expanded to 155 players.

Last week’s DFS value picks did not do particularly well, so we’ll hope to do better this week with a more recent data point than what we had to work with from before the COVID-19 shutdown. A really strong field means that we should have some more opportunities once again in that quest to fill out the roster.

The goal here is to find some value picks that you can pair with your higher-dollar players in order to fill out the remainder of your six-man roster. Salaries are from <a href="http://bangthebook.com/s/draftkings"><strong>DraftKings</strong></a>.

<strong>Matthew Fitzpatrick ($7,900) – </strong>This is a little higher of a dollar amount than I typically like to go, but Matthew Fitzpatrick has the chance to do really well this week. This Pete Dye/Jack Nicklaus design has some links elements to it, which should certainly play to the strengths of a guy like Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick played really well in the return at Colonial. He was fifth in SG: Putting at +5.401. He also hit a lot of fairways, coming in tied for 15th in driving accuracy. His iron play held him back a little but, but he finished in the 70s with each round and it looked like he used the downtime to his advantage. He hasn’t finished higher than 14th here, but the timing of this tournament is better for all involved as it no longer follows the Masters.

<strong>Branden Grace ($7,800) – </strong>Branden Grace sprayed the ball all over the place at Colonial, but scrambled well and putted for dough en route to finishing tied for 19th. Grace managed to finish dead last at 39.29% in driving accuracy, but still cracked the top 20. He was 17th in SG: Putting and 18th in SG: Approach. Grace has played well at Harbour Town in the past, including a win back in 2016 sandwiched between an 11th and a seventh. He has to feel good about how he did last week, despite the situations he put himself in off the tee. That’s good enough for me this week at a reasonable price point for a past winner.

<strong>Ian Poulter ($7,600) – </strong>Ian Poulter also rolled it well last week. He came in 20th in SG: Putting, which made up for his 52% showing off the tee in terms of playing from the short grass. Poulter scrambled well enough and putted well enough to finish 29th. He’s had some success at Harbour Town, so this pick satisfies both the recent form and the course form crowd, as he has back-to-back top-10 finishes at Harbour Town and also has an 11th and an 18th to his name. Once again, this tournament no longer follows the Masters, so it will help out a lot of the guys that regularly play here. There are 63 players in the field that did not play at Harbour Town last year. Poulter is pretty much a regular.

<strong>JT Poston ($7,500) – </strong>The North Carolina native enjoyed his first official PGA Tour trip to Harbour Town, as he finished sixth here last year. He was 10th last week at Colonial, as he used his quality putting to his advantage by finishing 14th in SG: Putting. Poston was also in the top five in driving accuracy. Like Colonial, this isn’t a course where you need to be a big hitter. Fairways, greens, and good putts are the flavors of the day yet again and Poston has been good in those areas. His first career win came last year at Sedgefield in the Wyndham Championship, so the Carolinas have been kind to him.

<strong>Rory Sabbatini ($7,200) – </strong>This one is probably my favorite pick of the week, but I like to list them by price. Rory Sabbatini looked good last week finishing 14th in Texas. Sabbatini was the fourth-best putter in SG: Putting, trailing only Jordan Spieth, Richy Werenski, and Patrick Reed. Sabbatini tied for 17th in driving accuracy with winner Daniel Berger and top-10 finisher Gary Woodland. Sabbatini also has four top-10 finishes at Harbour Town dating back to 2009 and has two additional top-20 finishes. He was 10th last year. Sabbatini is a guy that thrives on these shorter courses and he has a great opportunity to put up some low numbers again this week.

Free DFS Golf Picks: The 2020 RBC Heritage

<p>At 7:30 ET, the Memphis Grizzlies (-127) will take on the Atlanta Hawks (+107) in a non-conference matchup. The Grizzlies are favored by 1.5 points and have a record of 19-9. On the other hand, the Hawks have lost two straight and are 14-14 on the season.</p>

The over/under line for this game is 241.5 points.</p><h3>MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES VS ATLANTA HAWKS BETTING PICK</h3><p>The Pick: Memphis Grizzlies -1.5</p><p>This game will be played at State Farm Arena at 7:30 ET on Saturday, December 21st.</p><h3>WHY BET THE MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES:</h3><ul><li>We have this one finishing with a projected score of 153-122 in favor of the Grizzlies.</li><li>Our projections have Ja Morant finishing with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.</li><li>From the field, we have the Grizzlies finishing with a field goal percentage of 45.8% and knocking down 17 threes.</li></ul><h3>Can the Grizzlies Lock in a Win at Atlanta?</h3><p>The Grizzlies improved to 19-9 this season after a dominant 144-93 win over the Warriors on Thursday. Memphis, favored by 2.5 points, easily covered the spread at home. The game’s total of 237 points narrowly missed the O/U line of 238.5.</p> <p>Memphis set the tone early, jumping out to a 37-15 lead in the 1st quarter and extending it with an 11-0 run. They continued to control the game, outscoring the Warriors 32-23 in the 2nd quarter and 40-21 in the 3rd. By the start of the 4th, the Grizzlies were up 109-59, and they edged the Warriors 35-34 in the final period.</p><p>The Grizzlies put on an offensive clinic in their win over the Warriors, shooting 54.1% from the field and hitting 27 threes at a 56.2% clip. Santi Aldama led the way with 21 points and 14 rebounds, connecting on 5 threes, while Jake LaRavia added 19 points, hitting 4 threes at 80% efficiency.</p> <p>Jaren Jackson Jr. contributed 17 points, with 11 coming in the 3rd quarter. Luke Kennard scored 12 of his 15 points in the 4th, and Desmond Bane also finished with 15 points, adding 7 in the 3rd quarter.</p><p>The Grizzlies put on a defensive clinic against the Warriors, holding them to just 93 points on 35% shooting. Memphis set the tone early, giving up only 15 points in the 1st quarter and 23 in the 2nd. They continued their strong play in the 3rd, allowing 21 points before a 34-point 4th quarter.</p> <p>From beyond the arc, the Grizzlies limited the Warriors to 12 threes on 33% shooting. They also sent Golden State to the line 24 times, where they hit 17 free throws. Memphis controlled the boards with 45 defensive rebounds while allowing 10 offensive boards. They also added 11 steals and 8 blocks.</p><h3>Will the Hawks Secure A Victory as Home Underdogs?</h3><p>The Hawks fell to 14-14 on the season after a 133-126 road loss to the Spurs on Thursday. Atlanta entered the game as +1 point underdogs and failed to cover the spread. The total points of 259 exceeded the O/U line of 233.5 by 25.5 points.</p> <p>Atlanta went on a 13-0 run early, extending their lead from 36-28 to 49-28. However, they couldn’t maintain the momentum, as the Spurs outscored them 30-21 in the 3rd quarter. Despite entering the 4th quarter down just 90-87, the Hawks couldn’t complete the comeback, losing the final quarter 33-30.</p><p>De'Andre Hunter led the Hawks with 27 points and 6 rebounds, shooting 60% from the field and hitting 4 threes at 50% efficiency. Trae Young added 23 points and 16 assists, connecting on 3 threes at 50% from deep, while Jalen Johnson contributed 22 points and 9 rebounds, shooting 57.1% from the floor.</p> <p>As a team, the Hawks made 16 threes, shooting 42.1% from beyond the arc and 47.4% overall. Hunter scored 12 points in the 4th quarter, while Young added 8 in the final period.</p><p>The Hawks gave up 133 points to the Spurs on Thursday, including 36 in the 1st quarter. They tightened up in the 2nd, allowing just 24 points, but still allowed 30 points in both the 3rd and 4th quarters.</p> <p>Atlanta struggled to defend the three, as the Spurs hit 19 threes at a 45% clip. The Hawks sent San Antonio to the line 23 times, where they made 16 free throws. Defensively, the Hawks grabbed 41 rebounds, allowed 8 offensive boards, and recorded 14 steals and 6 blocks.</p>

DePaul Blue Demons vs Northwestern Wildcats NCAA Basketball Betting Pick & Prediction 12/21/24

The college football season is just about over. The biggest game of the season is on the horizon with a Monday January 13 kickoff at 8 p.m. ET. Beyond that, we only have a few bowl games remaining and the FCS National Championship Game between James Madison and North Dakota State.

Sadly, in what will be the last College Football Market Report of the season, there is very little to report. The post-New Year’s bowl games don’t draw a whole lot of attention and are generally weak matchups. There was some noteworthy game day movement in the Gator Bowl after an initial wave of activity, but not much otherwise. We’re seeing the same in the Potato Bowl, but very little otherwise.

In any event, we’ll analyze the remaining games in our last College Football Market Report:

<strong>275/276 Ohio vs. Nevada – </strong>The Potato Bowl kicks off on Friday afternoon between Ohio and Nevada. Ohio took the early money in the game to go from 6.5 up to as high as 8.5. Some trickles on Nevada bumped the line back down to 7.5, but game day money is hitting the board on Ohio. The markets are mostly 8.5 and 9 once again now. The total initially moved up from 57.5 to 59, but we’re seeing more over money now with a perfect weather forecast in Boise.

<strong>277/278 Tulane vs. Southern Miss – </strong>Tulane has been sitting -7 and the total has been sitting 56.5 for a long time for the Armed Forces Bowl. This is a very early 10:30 a.m. CT kickoff in Fort Worth, so this one will be done and over with a long time before the Wild Card games get going. There really is very little to report. A few books are sitting with extra juice on Tulane.

One thing I can report is that Tulane took a lot of sharp money over the course of the season and hasn’t taken any here. That does stand out to me to a degree and suggests that maybe Southern Miss will be the side of interest for sharper bettors.

<strong>279/280 Miami (OH) vs. Louisiana – </strong>The Lendingtree Bowl is in Mobile, Alabama and takes over for the Dollar General Bowl. Louisiana has been a 14-point favorite throughout the bowl betting process, but there are some whispers that Mississippi State may be courting Louisiana head coach Billy Napier. We’ll see if that has any impact on the January 6 bowl game. Otherwise, there is nothing to report on this game.

<strong>283/284 Clemson vs. LSU – </strong>LSU took quick early money on the National Championship Game to go up to 5.5 across most of the market. Some places did open below -5, but most of them did not, so there isn’t a ton of exposure for most books on the LSU side. Clemson sharp money is likely to come in as kickoff approaches because this line would have been pick ‘em or Clemson slightly favored just 5-6 weeks ago and one game or two shouldn’t be this much of an overreaction.

It seems likely that this line will close 5 with the total likely somewhere in the current range of 69.5 or 70. Public over money will be very, very heavy on the game, but usually the sharp side tends to be the under. Given that we didn’t see any sharp money to get out in front of a potential total move, the implication here is that sharp money will hit the under when the line peaks or simply isn’t interested.
