Procore Championship Preview for September 2024

Golf

After taking a weekend off, there will be some action on the PGA Tour again this weekend. While many of the biggest names are not going to be competing this weekend, there will still be some great players that are teeing it up.

This is going to be a chance for some other players to pick up a win that don’t usually win, and players want to get some momentum for bigger tournaments later on in the year. Betting odds have been set ahead of this event, and now is the perfect time to make some wagers.

Here is a look at the betting odds to win the Procore Championship, and a pick that should be made.

Three in the Mix

When looking at the betting odds to win the Procore Championship, there are three players that appear to be clearly in the lead. Betting on the favorites is not always a great option when it comes to PGA events, but the three favorites are in that position for a reason.

Wyndham Clark and Sahith Theegala are the two clear betting favorites to win the tournament this weekend as each player is sitting at +1200 when looking at the odds. There are typically players with much better odds for PGA Tournament events, but that’s not the case in this one.

Corey Conners is next on the list at +1400 to win the Procore Championship, and he is looking to take the next step this season. He is a player that has had some success on the PGA Tour, but at some point he is going to be trying to pick up some wins.

Best of the Rest

Even though there is a big gap between the top three players and the rest of the field, it would be foolish to ignore other players. There are actually some very talented players looking to tee it up this weekend, and some big names to keep in mind.

Max Homa is coming into this event at +2000, and Luke Clanton has those same odds. It’s interesting to see Clanton with those odds, but Homa is a player that is capable of winning each weekend.

Min Woo Lee and Maverick McNealy could also win this event, and they are sitting at +2200 to win this weekend. Here are some of the other names to keep an eye on:

  • Keith Mitchell +3000
  • J.J. Spaun +3500
  • Tome Hoge +4000
  • Brendon Todd +4000
  • Patrick Rodgers +4000

Time to Make a Pick

There is going to be a great chance to cash in this weekend, as even the top betting favorites are going to come with some value. Insead of betting on the biggest names, it’s a much better idea to look a bit further down the odds.

It’s interesting to see Max Homa in a position of being an underdog this weekend, especially since he is such a good player. Now is the perfect time to strike though, and betting on him at +2000 to win the Procore Championship is the bet to make.
