<h2>Providence returns to action </h2>



<p>The Providence Friars (14-2; 11-5 ATS) had to postpone their previous three games due to COVID-19 issues. They’ll take on the Hoyas after a 12-day long pause, coming off an 83-73 home victory to the St. John’s Red Storm.</p>



<p>Senior guard Aljami Durham leads the way for the Friars, averaging 13.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 35.0 minutes on the floor per game. Center Nate Watson is another key senior in this Providence team. He’s tallying 14.1 points, 6.3 boards, and 1.0 blocks per contest.</p>



<p>The Friars lay at the second spot of the Big East Conference standings. They are No. 32 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 50 in the KenPom rankings. Providence scores 109.1 points per 100 possessions (65<sup>th</sup> in the nation) and yields 95.6 in a return (48<sup>th</sup>).</p>

<p>The Hoyas will struggle to deal with Providence’s defense. Georgetown relies a lot on its 3-point shooting, and the Friars allow their opponents to make only 31.2% of their 3-pointers. Providence will force the Hoyas into half-court basketball and look for easy baskets in transition.&nbsp;</p>
