Against the spread, the Jaguars are 8-7-1, with a +6-4-1 record as underdogs and a 2-3 mark as favorites. Their O/U record is 8-8, with the under hitting in their last two games.</p> <p>In week 17, Jacksonville snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the Titans 20-13. The Jaguars were 0.5-point favorites and covered the spread with the win. The combined scoring of 33 points was below the 38.5-point line. In week 16, Jacksonville lost 19-14 to the Raiders, and in week 15, they fell 32-25 to the Jets.</p><p>Heading into week 18, Jacksonville ranks 23rd in our offensive power rankings. They are 24th in the NFL in points per game (18.6) and 26th in yards per game (305.4). The Jaguars average 204.4 passing yards per game, which ranks 23rd, on 32.1 attempts per game. On the ground, they rank 26th in rushing yards per game (101) on 23.8 attempts per contest. Jacksonville is 18th in the NFL in 3rd-down conversion rate (37.4%) and 15th in red zone conversion percentage (25.5%).</p> <p>In week 17, Mac Jones posted a passer rating of 122, completing 15 of 22 passes for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns. Brian Thomas Jr. led the team with 7 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, while Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 49 yards on 15 carries. Jacksonville converted 8 of 13 3rd-down attempts and scored on both of their red zone trips in week 17.</p><p>In their 20-13 win over the Titans, the Jaguars' defense gave up 159 rushing yards on 30 attempts but held Tennessee to just 13 points. The Jaguars' defense also came up with three sacks and held the Titans to 61.3% completions. They defended the pass well, allowing just 178 yards through the air and giving up only one passing touchdown.<p></p>Jacksonville's defense was strong on third downs, allowing the Titans to convert just 50% of their third down attempts. They also came up with one interception and had more tackles for loss and quarterback hits than the Titans.</p><h3>Are The Colts Going To Defend Home Field Advantage?</h3><p>Heading into week 18, the Colts sit at 7-9, putting them 2nd in the AFC South. They rank 25th in our power rankings and have been eliminated from playoff contention. After a week 16 win over the Titans, Indy couldn’t keep up with the Giants in week 17, losing 45-33. The Colts were 7.5-point favorites in that game but couldn’t get the win, dropping their record to 7-9.</p> <p>Indy is 9-7 against the spread this season, with a scoring margin of -3.3 points per game. Their O/U record is also 9-7, with the over hitting in four straight games. Colts games have averaged 47.2 points this season, compared to an average line of 44.</p><p>Heading into week 18, the Colts rank 25th in our offensive power rankings. They are 16th in the NFL in points per game (21.9) and 15th in yards per game (328.9). Indianapolis has leaned heavily on the run game, ranking 7th in rushing attempts and 8th in rushing yards per game (134.6). On the other hand, they are 27th in passing attempts and 26th in passing yards per game.</p> <p>Jonathan Taylor has been a workhorse for the Colts, carrying the ball 32 times for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns in week 17. Joe Flacco threw for 330 yards, with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, while Alec Pierce led the team with 6 catches for 122 yards.</p><p>In their most recent game, the Colts' defense struggled to generate pressure, as they failed to record a sack and had a negative QB hit differential of -3. The Colts gave up 309 passing yards to the Giants, with New York completing 73.9% of their passes and connecting on four touchdown passes. Overall, the Colts allowed 45 points and 389 total yards in a 45-33 loss, with the Giants averaging 13.4 yards per passing attempt.<p></p>On third downs, the Colts allowed the Giants to convert on 53.8% of their chances, and despite holding the Giants to 2.7 yards per attempt on the ground, the passing game was very effective against them.</p>

We’ve got a good NBA doubleheader on Monday as the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets play Game 2 in the second round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs and the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns square off in Game 1 of their series.

Let’s take a look at the early game between the Bucks and Nets, which seems to have taken on a different feel after James Harden left Game 1 with a hamstring injury. The line has been adjusted down with Harden’s absence, as the Nets are now -1.5 with a total of 234 at <strong><a href="http://bangthebook.com/sportsbooks/betonline/">BetOnline Sportsbook</a></strong>.

The line for Game 1 was Nets -3.5 and 239.5, so we’ve seen both a side adjustment and a total adjustment. Brooklyn was as high as -4.5 prior to Game 1, but the line did settle 3.5 at tip-off.
<h2><strong><u>Milwaukee Bucks</u></strong></h2>
The Bucks were not sharp in Game 1. After a four-game sweep of the Miami Heat in the first round, Milwaukee went from May 29 to June 5 without playing a game and it showed. Milwaukee came out fast and led by two at the end of the first quarter, but got outscored the rest of the way, including 52-46 in the second half. Milwaukee was outscored by 12 after the halftime intermission as Brooklyn adjusted and regrouped and the Bucks did not.

At least it was a really promising start to the series for Giannis Antetokounmpo. After a couple of lackluster games in Miami with just 37 points on 14-of-30 from the floor, Giannis dropped 34 points on 16-of-24 shooting against the Nets in the first game. He was held off of the stat sheet on the offensive glass, but did pull down 11 rebounds.

Unfortunately for the Bucks, Brook Lopez was the only member of the supporting cast to have a good game. He had 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting in 27:32 on the floor. That was a lot stronger than Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, who had 30 points, but on 13-of-42 shooting. The Bucks were only 6-of-30 from three-point range and those two were 2-of-12 themselves.

It’s a lot like what we saw in Game 1 against Miami from the Bucks. That, too, was an awful performance from three-point range. The difference is that Milwaukee found a way to win that game anyway. They did not in this series.
<h2><strong><u>Brooklyn Nets</u></strong></h2>
James Harden played all of 43 seconds for the Nets in Game 1. Everybody had to pick up the slack and a lot of guys did. The other four in the starting lineup combined for 91 points and everybody chipped in offensively with at least 18 points. Kevin Durant led the way with 29 and Kyrie Irving had 25.

The Nets were 15-of-40 from three, so they outscored Milwaukee 45-18 from beyond the arc. That was a major key to the series coming in, as Milwaukee had the second-worst 3P% defense in the NBA during the regular season. The Nets didn’t take full advantage, as the Harden injury hurt in that department, but they still badly outscored Milwaukee in that area. That was even with a 4-of-15 performance combined from Kyrie and KD.

Brooklyn only had six offensive rebounds to 15 for the Bucks, but the big disparity with three-pointers was more than enough to make up for it. The Nets got some good contributions from the bench, as the all-hands-on-deck approach happened to work out. Mike James was especially good with 12 points and seven rebounds.

The Nets did have to use their four starts a lot. Every starter played at least 34 minutes. The Bucks spread the playing time out a bit with the layoff. We’ll see if that has any impact in Game 2 or any impact in the series as we move forward.
<h2><strong><u>Bucks vs. Nets Free Pick</u></strong></h2>
The Bucks were just 20% from three in Game 1. They were 5-of-31 for 16.1% in Game 1 against the Heat. They adjusted and played better in Game 2, though Miami was a much less formidable opponent than the Nets. Still, Milwaukee had a really rough game, as the supporting cast around Giannis played poorly. Brooklyn now goes from adjusting on the fly to having a plan of attack for the Harden injury and sometimes it’s better to just go off-the-cuff and make everybody do a little bit more.

I think the Bucks can and will bounce back in Game 2.

Bucks vs. Nets Game 2 Free Pick & Prediction - 06/07/21

<p>UFC in the APEX is back again this weekend following a historic UFC 289 event in Vancouver, Canada, last week. This weekend we get a great matchup of two top-5 middleweights, Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier.</p>



<p>Both Vettori and Cannonier have had their shot at the title, but Adesanya proved to be too much for their level of fighting, and it was clear. So it’s an interesting dynamic for this fight when both of them are in, what seems to be, a limbo between fighting contenders and earning a title fight.</p>



<p>If you are an MMA fan, you know Vettori has an arguably delusional sense of confidence that he should have won both of those fights against Adesanya. Cannonier knows he struggled against him, and his mindset might have shifted to just wanted to win fights and make money for his family. </p>



<p>Let’s break down this main event fight, and find the best bets for multiple fights on this UFC Fight Night card.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-main-event-marvin-vettori-vs-jared-cannonier">Main Event - Marvin Vettori vs. Jared Cannonier</h2>



<p>On paper, this fight should be an awesome experience for MMA fans all over the world. Unfortunately, we think that it will be a slightly boring viewing experience. Both of these guys are very tactical in their fighting abilities. </p>



<p>Vettori will gladly get in a 25-minute chess match of a fight with someone just to come out with the ‘W’ in the winning column. Cannonier seems like he struggles with turning on the offense when he isn’t comfortable in the cage.</p>



<p>The betting favorite for this main event is Vettori at -115, basically being a pick ‘em line with Cannonier’s -105 odds. This honestly should be a pick ‘em odds fight because these two are very evenly matched.</p>



<p>The best thing about an evenly-matched MMA fight is that the odds won’t sway you one way or the other. Both fighters have value and are worthy of a pick.</p>



<p>On the technical side of things, Cannonier is a better striker and more dangerous in the kickboxing range. Vettori will probably have issues finding his range between spamming his low kicks and then closing the distance for a level change.</p>



<p>Our best bet for this main event bout is the -105 ML for Cannonier. He has more ability to hurt Vettori, maybe to the body from kicks, and will have a good gameplan after studying Vettori’s very vanilla-like style.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-co-main-event-arman-tsarukyan-vs-joaquim-silva">Co-Main Event - Arman Tsarukyan vs. Joaquim Silva</h2>



<p>This co-main event is very surprising when looking at it on paper. Yeah, Tsarukyan is a very high-level fighter and one of the best prospects in the UFC, but Silva is no slouch.&nbsp;</p>



<p>BetOnline has Silva as the +700 underdog and that might be too crazy to pass up on. If you are a fan of MMA, how many times have you seen something unpredictable happen in the octagon? Just about every single event.&nbsp;</p>



<p>With no value in a pick for Tsarukyan, we think it’s more than justifiable to lay some money down on a +700 Silva pick in this one. They have 4-ounce gloves and it only takes one clean shot to change the game plan that Tsarukyan had for this fight.</p>



<p>If you can’t bet against Tsarukyan this weekend, go for the fight going the distance at +250 or Tsarukyan winning by decision at +315.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This kid has came out of retirement after giving up on MMA because of multiple awful judges’ decisions in the UFC. He has been robbed of half his money multiple times because of bad judging on fights he clearly should have won on the scorecards.</p>

Texas has rattled off two straight series victories and have an overall series record of 31-19-2. This season, Texas is 50-31 at home and 40-41 on the road.</p><p><p>Jordan Montgomery will take the mound for the Rangers with an overall record of 10-11. The lefty has made 34 appearances this season, boasting an ERA of 3.20 and a K/9 of 7.92. His FIP is 3.56, while his OBP stands at .288.</p></p><p>In his latest outing versus the Orioles, Jordan Montgomery allowed five runs on nine hits over four innings of work.
