<p>Philadelphia is looking to stay the only unbeaten team in the NFL when Jacksonville comes to Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles are -6.5 favorites on <a href="https://www.bangthebook.com/sportsbooks/betonline/">BetOnline Sportsbook</a>, while the total is set at 45.5 points. These inter-conference rivals will meet for the first time since 2018.</p>



<p><strong>Jaguars dismantled the Chargers on the road</strong></p>



<p>In one of the biggest upsets in Week 3, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 38-10 on the road to improve to a 2-1 record and top spot in the AFC South. The Jags took over in the second quarter after a scoreless opening period and never dropped a lead since. They completely stopped a potent Chargers’ offense, especially on the ground, and fully deserved to win after dominating in total yards (413-312), first downs (25-16), and possession (38:27-21:33). Jacksonville forced two turnovers and committed none on the other side.</p>



<p>Trevor Lawrence had the best game of his career as he completed 28 of 39 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Zay Jones and Christian Kirk were quite busy in this win as they caught 16 combined passes (on 20 targets) from Lawrence for 157 yards and a pair of TDs. Marvin Jones Jr. got the third passing touchdown, while James Robinson reached the century mark on the ground along with a score on 17 carries. Foyesade Oluokun led the team defensively with eight total tackles.</p>



<p>WR Zay Jones (ankle) and CB Shaquill Griffin (hip) are questionable to play on Sunday against the Eagles.</p>



<p><strong>Eagles maintained a perfect record with a win over the Commanders</strong></p>



<p>The Philadelphia Eagles are now the only unbeaten team in the NFL after the opening three weeks, and not many expected this outcome at this point of the season. Following a comfortable home win over the Vikings, the eagles beat the divisional rivals Washington Commanders 24-8 on the road. The Eagles didn’t score in the second half but they scored 24 points in the first and could afford to relax a bit later on. Philadelphia totaled 400 yards opposite Washington’s 240.</p>



<p>Jalen Hurts was impressive once again as he completed 22 of 35 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns. DeVonta Smith sliced the Commanders’ secondary open with career-high 169 yards and a TD on eight receptions, while A.J. Brown added 85 yards and a score on five catches. Philadelphia’s run offense wasn’t great (72 yards on 30 carries) but that didn’t hurt them in this one. The defense; however, erupted for nine sacks. Brandon Graham got 2.5 of them, while T.J. Edwards led all the defenders with ten total tackles.</p>



<p>RB Boston Scott is nursing a rib injury, leaving his status for Sunday's showdown against the Jaguars in question.</p>

<p>Jacksonville’s head coach Doug Pederson won the Super Bowl with Philadelphia and he knows the team very well, so I doubt the Eagles can surprise him on Sunday. The Jags showed they are a tough team, especially after the opening loss to the Commanders. In the last two games, the Jaguars allowed just ten points, so one of the best offenses in the NFL could have a long day against the Jags’ D. I am not saying that Jacksonville will spoil Philadelphia’s perfect record, but I am backing the visitors to cover here.</p>

<p>I mentioned Philadelphia’s prolific offense, but we can’t ignore the fact that the Jaguars are scoring 28.0 ppg, and we will see plenty of that offense on Sunday. It’s all about Doug Pederson and his creativity, which was a trademark of Philadelphia’s Super Bowl season, so the teams have a rough time defending Jacksonville’s diverse offense. Over is 5-2 in the Jaguars’ last seven games overall; Over is 4-0 in Jacksonville’s previous four road games, while Over is 5-1 in the Eagles’ last six home games.</p>
