Senzatela was dismantled in his lone start against the D-Backs this season, registering a 13.50 ERA in 2.0 innings.</p>



<p><strong>Diamondbacks returned to losing ways</strong></p>



<p>Although they ended a four-game losing run with a win over the Cleveland Guardians, the Arizona Diamondbacks lost the next game to the Guardians and lost the series 2-1. They spent the last six games on the road and now will play the next seven at Chase Field. Arizona will be looking to stay above the Rockies in the standings after this series in the desert.</p>



<p>Tommy Henry suffered a loss in his first-ever start in the MLB as he surrendered four runs on four hits with three strikeouts and three walks in 5.0 innings. Alek Thomas and Geraldo Perdomo chipped in offensively with a two-run homer apiece, but Arizona lost 7-4.</p>



<p>Merrill Kelly (10-5) will start on the mound for the 22nd start of the season when he takes on the Rockies on Saturday. The 33-year-old righty experienced a fantastic month of July and recorded four wins in six starts (two no-decisions) with a great 1.31 ERA. For the year, Kelly has a pristine 2.87 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and a 104/38 K/BB ratio in 125.1 innings of work.</p>
