For the first time in 10 years, the UFC is heading back to Louisville, Kentucky, with a Fight Night scheduled to take place at the KFC Yum! Center. It has already been a great year in this sport, and the action this weekend should only continue that trend.

Not only does the UFC deliver some drama and intrigue each weekend, but it also leads to some good betting opportunities. Here is a look at some of the top fights scheduled for this weekend, and the best bets that should be made.

A Great Main Event

Every single UFC event is known for the final fight of the night, and a pair of middleweight fighters are going to be battling it out this weekend. There won’t be much of a difference in the odds when Nassourdine Imavov takes on Jared Cannonier in what should be a great battle.

Imavov is the slight betting favorite for this event at -125, but that doesn’t mean that you should just ignore Cannonier at -105 on Saturday night. This fight is supposed to go five rounds, but you might find that one fighter is able to end it early.

Cannonier is returning to the Octagon after suffering a knee injury, and that is going to be something to keep in mind on Saturday night. Nassourdine isn’t going to make things easy for Cannonier, and he will be extremely aggressive.

If you are going to bet on the main event then you will want to take Imavov at -125 as he will find a way to come up with a big win at the KFC Yum! Center.

Light Heavyweights Clashing

Dominck Reyes will be taking on Dustin Jacoby in a light heavyweight bout on Saturday night, and this is an interesting one. Both fighters are good enough to challenge for the belt, but it’s been a rough few years for each of the fighters.

Jacoby has gone 1-3 in his last four fights, but all three of those losses came by decision. The 36 year old is favored at -230 on Saturday night, and he is someone that will look to be extremely aggressive in the Octagon.

Dominick Reyes has had some chances to win a title, including a tough fight with Jon Jones. That fight was lost on a decision, and Reyes started to all apart a bit after the disappointing defeat.

There is some value in betting on Reyes at +190 to win the fight this weekend, but Jacoby is just in a better spot. This one is going to end early as Jacoby will get the job done and come away with a massive win.

Another Great Bout

There are terrific matchups found throughout the fight card at the UFC Fight Night in Louisville, but one more on the main card really stands out. That would be the bantamweight battle between Ricky Turcios and Raul Rosas Jr, and it’s a fight that is supposed to last three rounds.

The reason that this fight looks so good on paper is for the fact that it was actually supposed to take place back in February. After that fight got postponed, both fighters have spent time talking about the rescheduled date, and also studying their opponent.

Rosas Jr. becoming ill was the initial reason for the postponement, and he comes into this fight as the betting favorite at -230. Turcios is a worthy opponent at +190, but there is a reason that he is an underdog in this fight.

Expect this bout to come down to a decision, and it’s best to grab the underdog in that situation. It’s going to be tight, but getting Turcios to win this fight at +190 is the best way to go for another great fight at the KFC Yum! Center.
