MVP candidate Paul is averaging 33.5 points per game and also dishing out 13.5 assists per game. He is the first player in NBA history to have at least 30 points and 10 assists in his first two playoff games.

The Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres conclude a three-game set on Thursday evening at Petco Park. Jake Peavy gets the start for the Padres while Jeff Francis goes for the Rockies. Peavy is already in mid-season form with an ERA of 1.64 and a 3-0 record. Francis has struggled so far going 0-2 with a 9.53 ERA.
