No. 1 North Carolina Tarheels vs. No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners

Two of the most prominent teams from the regular season will take center court on Sunday afternoon in a big Elite Eight match-up. The North Carolina Tarheels are among all four remaining number one seeded teams who have yet to be beaten in the NCAA Tournament. However, they will take on the Oklahoma Sooners who have been playing extremely well this Sunday in a fight to determine who moves on to the Final Four. Both teams enter the game coming off impressive performances in the sweet sixteen. North Carolina took down Gonzaga by 21 points while Oklahoma took down Syracuse 84-71. The Tarheels have long been considered the most talented team in America, but they will take on what most consider the best player in America that is Blake Griffin and the Sooners. Will Griffin make another marvelous performance to take down the Tarheels or will North Carolina’s star studded lineup be too much to handle?

No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners at No. 15 Missouri Tigers

The No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners felt the importance of losing their superstar forward Blake Griffin after losing two straight games to both Kansas and Texas. However, Griffin has returned to play and the Sooners will try to get back the swagger they have carried all season. The No. 15 Missouri Tigers are most probably what many consider the surprise team of the conference. The Tigers had a legitimate shot at winning the Big 12 outright before getting blown out by Kansas on Sunday 90-65. However, the Tigers can still deliver another surprising performance if they could find a way to take down Blake Griffin and the Oklahoma Sooners this Wednesday night.

Oklahoma at Oklahoma State Pick and Preview

Third-ranked Oklahoma will try and move up in the BCS standings on Saturday as they play at rival Oklahoma State. With a win against the Cowboys, the Sooners would almost assuredly get a spot in next week’s Big 12 title game against Missouri. If they would go on to beat the Tigers they would probably then play in the BCS National Championship game.
