Just a month ago, Head Coach Rex Ryan and Head Coach Mike Tomlin exchanged pleasantries following a 22-17 win for the New York Jets over the Pittsburgh Steelers. You could plainly see Tomlin tell Ryan good luck for the playoffs. Ryan responded with, “We’ll see you there.” Little did either one know that they would be the last two teams left standing in the AFC playoffs. Here is our AFC Championship Game preview and our NFL odds analysis of the duel between the Jets and Steelers.

We couldn’t have drawn up a better scenario than this. The first time around in NFL betting action, the Chicago Bears got the best of the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. Then in Week 17, Green Bay snuck its way into the playoffs with a narrow 10-3 escape. The two will meet for a third and decisive final time this year back in the Windy City with a berth in Super Bowl XLV.

Way back in Week 6, the Chicago Bears thought that they had a very easy fixture against the Seattle Seahawks in NFL betting action here at Soldier Field. They lost that game by a field goal, but little did they know that they would get a chance at redemption in the second round of the NFL playoffs in January.

Saturday night is going to be one of the most interesting nights of the year in NFL betting action. In spite of the fact that the Green Bay Packers are the No. 6 seed in the NFC and the Atlanta Falcons are the No. 1, there is a lot of speculation that this is the most likely upset of the NFL betting weekend when the two teams meet in the Georgia Dome.

You won’t find two teams that hate each other more than this. Once again, the AFC playoffs features an NFL betting battle that will be a real slugfest in the Steel City, as the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers will meet for the third time this season.

Apparently, it’s personal. That’s what the New York Jets are thinking right now on the eve of their first round NFL playoff betting affair with the Indianapolis Colts, a game scheduled to kick off on Saturday night in primetime at Lucas Oil Field.
